Toyota Matrix

My car was burglarized last Friday night between 8-9pm while it was parked, unlocked in my driveway. No damage, nothing much taken. A small coin bag full of loose change, half a dozen tote bags, a Rolling Stones compilation cd, a Brightblack Morninglight cd, a boyscout knife, two pens. The car was trashed with papers from the glovebox and whatnot. CD-r’s scattered around. They didn’t take the Gummo soundtrack cd, Johnny Rivers greatest hits cd, GBV Human Amusements at Hourly Rates cd, Twin Peaks soundtrack cd. It was all such a casual situation, like an uneasy lark. Nobody was hurt. I didn’t call the police. I was gonna give all that change to homeless people anyway.
A few days later I saw a picture of the perpetrator online from several neighbors security cameras from Friday night. A tall white guy of unknown age with blonde hair wearing a blue jacket, tan cargo shorts and slip on shoes. A very mild victimization indeed.
